We are partnering with a growing and ambitious organisation to recruit a Sales Manager to lead its internal sales and customer success function. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, improving conversion rates and maximising customer lifetime value. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping sales processes, developing a high-performing team and ensuring every opportunity is effectively managed from initial enquiry through to long-term customer retention. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of internal sales professionals, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of the internal sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are effectively managed, progressed and converted.
  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and service levels, identifying trends and implementing improvements to maximise results.
  • Develop and enhance sales processes, playbooks and customer engagement strategies to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Manage customer retention, referral and cross-selling initiatives to increase revenue and customer lifetime value.
  • Produce regular performance reports and insights for senior leadership, ensuring clear visibility of team and pipeline performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales management, internal sales or business development leadership role.
  • Experience coaching, motivating and developing a sales team within a target-driven environment.
  • Strong track record of managing sales pipelines, lead conversion activity and CRM systems.
  • Ability to analyse sales data, identify performance trends and implement effective improvement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Highly organised, commercially focused and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
