What you'll do
- You’ll lead a portfolio of privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, taking overall responsibility for the delivery of high-quality audit engagements while building long-term relationships with clients and their leadership teams.
- You’ll oversee complex assignments, working closely with Partners where appropriate, and ensure engagements are delivered to the highest technical and commercial standards.
- You’ll play an active role in winning new work, strengthening existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to introduce wider advisory services.
- You’ll help shape the firm's growth strategy across the region, contributing ideas that enhance client service, expand market presence, and support the continued development of the practice.
- As a senior leader, you’ll also be responsible for developing your team, coaching managers and senior managers, identifying future leaders, and creating an environment where people can thrive.
- Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of the commercial performance of your portfolio, managing profitability, fee growth, and client service with equal focus.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience operating at Audit Senior Manager or Director level within an accountancy practice
- RI (Responsible Individual) status, or the ability to obtain it in the immediate future
- Strong experience working with privately owned, owner-managed and mid-market businesses
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK audit and financial reporting standards
- A track record of developing long-term client relationships and winning new business
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing audit teams
- Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for portfolio performance and profitability
- Ambition to play a significant leadership role and progress towards Partnership
