We’re supporting a well-established and growing professional services firm in the search for a Company Secretary to join its highly regarded Business Law team. This is a standalone role and a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and managing a varied portfolio of company secretarial work.
You'll be the key point of contact for all company secretarial matters, handling a broad range of responsibilities including statutory filings, maintenance of statutory registers, company incorporations, share transfers, PSC updates, board minutes, registered office services, and Companies House compliance. The role also involves managing a portfolio of clients and working closely with lawyers and partners across the firm.
What we're looking for:
- Previous Company Secretary experience
- Strong knowledge of UK statutory filing requirements and Companies House processes
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- High levels of accuracy and organisation
- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment would be advantageous
