HR Assistant (6-Month Temporary Contract)

Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be supporting a growing and innovative organisation in the search for an HR Assistant to join their People team on an initial 6-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration or HR assistant experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team, you'll provide essential support across the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure HR processes run smoothly during a particularly busy period of growth and change.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Preparing contracts, letters and employee documentation
- Maintaining and updating HR systems and employee records
- Supporting payroll administration, including processing joiners, leavers and contractual changes
- Conducting Right to Work and compliance checks
- Assisting with recruitment administration and new starter coordination
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous HR administration or HR assistant experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience maintaining confidential employee records
- A proactive and flexible approach
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems
