We're working with a well-established accountancy practice seeking a Senior Business Advisory to support a varied portfolio of business clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, delivering high-quality accounts preparation and business support while mentoring junior colleagues and continuing their own professional development.

About the Role

You'll become an integral member of a busy Business Advisory team, providing accounting and compliance services to a diverse range of owner-managed businesses, partnerships and sole traders.

Working alongside managers and senior colleagues, you'll be responsible for delivering work to a high standard while building trusted relationships with clients.

  • Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
  • Producing corporation tax computations for review.
  • Preparing management accounts to support business performance.
  • Completing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping assignments.
  • Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
  • Ensuring statutory deadlines are met and work is delivered accurately.
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative working environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have

  • Assisting with the submission of financial statements and tax compliance documentation.
  • ACA, ACCA, ICAS or AAT qualification, or be qualified through relevant practical experience.
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • A solid understanding of accounts preparation and business compliance.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
