Across the North East (field-based with office in Sunderland). For driven, commercially minded sales professionals, this is an opportunity to grow digital and print revenues across some of the North East’s best-known media brands – including The Sunderland Echo, Shields Gazette and Northumberland Gazette – part of Iconic Media Group.
Blending the innovation of digital with the credibility of trusted news brands, this multi-platform role helps businesses connect with audiences through powerful advertising solutions. You’ll develop existing client relationships and identify new opportunities, leveraging the strength of Iconic’s local media portfolio to deliver effective campaigns across display, video, social, branded content and audience targeting – supported by the reach and heritage of our established print titles.
Using audience insights and campaign performance data, you’ll demonstrate the value of our platforms and help clients achieve measurable results. You’ll manage your own sales pipeline, maintain consistent activity levels and deliver against clear revenue targets.
Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with editorial, digital and marketing teams to create integrated campaigns that resonate with audiences and deliver for clients.
We’re looking for someone with experience in B2B sales, ideally within media, advertising or marketing. You’ll understand how digital advertising works and be confident discussing formats, performance and campaign optimisation with clients. However, we’re also open to high-performing sales professionals from other sectors, or graduates with media, marketing or other commercially focused degrees who are keen to build a career in media sales.
You’ll be commercially minded, organised and self-motivated, with the ability to simplify and sell complex solutions in a way that builds trust and confidence with clients. A valid driving licence is essential.
