Are you an accomplished event manager seeking a new opportunity where you will be responsible for delivering a programme of assigned events? Iconic Media is a major publishing force with an ambitious events division that delivers over 150 events annually: covering everything from awards ceremonies to conferences and business breakfasts, across a breadth of sectors.
As 2 of our incredible event managers take on a new challenge of growing their families, 2 exciting opportunities open for fresh talent to join our team for an initial 12-month period. You’ll have ownership of every aspect of the events lifecycle including:
- Creating project plans
- Negotiating with third parties
- Engaging with media partners
- Continually seeking opportunities to add value
- Supporting sales teams in generating sponsorships
- Driving ticket revenue
- Keeping on top of cost lines in order to hit targeted profit levels simultaneously on multiple events
Ideally, you will have 4+ years experience of single handedly delivering multiple award ceremonies and/or conferences. You’ll be well versed in sourcing comperes, entertainment, suppliers to suit each event as well as driving nominations and/or delegate registrations. You’re creative, organised and a natural communicator and negotiator. Experience of working with publishing is even better!
You’ll be joining an organisation that has achieved impressive growth through a combination of entrepreneurial flair, independent ownership and stability – and is still hungry for more. While the initial contracts are intended to be for a 12-month period, it’s likely that we will have grown sufficiently during that time that a permanent contract may be offered to those that shine.
