Scotland – field-based with Edinburgh office. For commercially driven sales professionals who thrive on building relationships, opening doors and driving growth, this is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s most ambitious media businesses. Working across some of Scotland’s best-known brands – including The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News and Scotland on Sunday – you’ll help businesses connect with audiences through a powerful mix of digital, social, video, branded content and trusted print media solutions.

This role will suit ambitious Sales Executives, Business Development professionals and Commercial Managers who enjoy developing networks, spotting opportunities and creating long-term client partnerships. We’re looking for people who are proactive, energetic and commercially curious. People who are comfortable picking up the phone, opening conversations and taking a consultative approach to understanding client challenges and delivering effective solutions.

You’ll inherit and grow a portfolio of existing relationships while also developing new business opportunities across the region. Using audience insight, campaign performance data and the strength of Iconic Media’s multi-platform offering, you’ll work with clients to create campaigns that deliver measurable results and genuine commercial impact. No two days are the same. One day you could be pitching creative digital solutions to a major regional employer; the next, helping a local business grow through targeted advertising and content campaigns.

You’ll manage your own pipeline and sales activity, work towards clear commercial targets and collaborate closely with editorial, digital and creative colleagues to deliver campaigns that stand out. Experience within media, advertising, marketing or digital sales would be advantageous, but we’re equally interested in high-performing sales professionals from other sectors who understand relationship-led selling and have the drive to succeed in a fast-moving commercial environment.

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Commercially minded and self-motivated
  • Confident communicators and relationship builders
  • Proactive in generating leads and developing opportunities
  • Comfortable with outbound sales activity and networking
  • Consultative in their approach with clients
  • Organised, resilient and target-driven

A full UK driving licence is essential. We’re excited to hear from you. Apply with a cover letter and CV via the apply button.
