Are you an accomplished event manager seeking a new opportunity where you will be responsible for delivering a programme of assigned events? Iconic Media is a major publishing force with an ambitious events division that delivers over 150 events annually: covering everything from awards ceremonies to conferences and business breakfasts, across a breadth of sectors. As 2 of our incredible event managers take on a new challenge of growing their families, 2 exciting opportunities open for fresh talent to join our team for an initial 12-month period.

You’ll have ownership of every aspect of the events lifecycle including:

  • Creating project plans
  • Negotiating with third parties
  • Engaging with media partners
  • Continually seeking opportunities to add value
  • Supporting sales teams in generating sponsorships
  • Driving ticket revenue
  • Keeping on top of cost lines in order to hit targeted profit levels simultaneously on multiple events

Ideally, you will have 4+ years experience of single handedly delivering multiple award ceremonies and/or conferences. You’ll be well versed in sourcing comperes, entertainment, suppliers to suit each event as well as driving nominations and/or delegate registrations. And it goes without saying that you’re creative, organised and a natural communicator and negotiator. If you have experience of working with publishing even better!

So whilst the initial contracts are intended to be for a 12-month period, it’s likely that we will have grown sufficiently during that time that a permanent contract may be offered to those that shine.
