We are looking for a passionate and experienced Host to join our team in The Dining Room. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of The Dining Room, greeting guests with a smile, managing reservations, and ensuring every visit is seamless and memorable. If you love creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and thrive on delivering excellent service, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities- To be confident and fully competent in the usage of the Opera system.
- To manage and optimise Lunch and Dinner covers through control of bookings, with special attention paid to timing slots and table allocations.
- Supporting the restaurant team with serving and clearing tables and taking orders.
- To take ownership and ensure the cashiering of bills with care are taken over correct charging to rooms, payment methods and any discounts given.
- To take pride in maintaining menus to a high standard of appearance and ensure dishes and prices are kept up to date.
- To take ownership and ensure standard operating procedures are maintained for billing, signing of bills and taking of payments throughout the service.
- Showing integrity reporting all comments/complaints/problems to the Restaurant or Assistant Restaurant Manager in charge.
- To be confident with guests' names and their correct titles are used at all times & that the service is discrete & efficient at all times.
- To be confident in understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality and data protection.
- Experience in 4* or 5* hotel restaurants is desirable.
- Experience in high standards of face to face customer service is essential.
- Flexibility to work morning or evening shifts.
- Previous restaurant/F&B background would be advantageous in this role.

- Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues.
- A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude.
