Junior Pastry Sous Chef — Cliveden House, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 0JF

Cliveden House is a luxury 5 Red Star hotel, set in 376 acres of National Trust grounds with views over the River Thames. We value our team and foster a culture of luxury with a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging individuality and exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Join the senior culinary team to create exceptional desserts and pastries, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef to oversee pastry kitchen operations and ensure consistency.
  • Actively participate in the creation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Demonstrate leadership and communication skills, mentoring junior pastry team members as needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Possess extensive experience in pastry arts, preferably within a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel.
  • Be hands-on and creative in developing new pastry recipes and menu items.
  • Show a commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Be adaptable and able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
