As a Public Area Attendant at 11 Cadogan Gardens and The Chelsea Townhouse - the only Relais & Châteaux properties in London - you are a vital part of the guest experience and the reason our guests return time and time again. Working as part of a close-knit Housekeeping team, you will take pride in maintaining immaculate public spaces throughout the hotel, from early morning through to the evening, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming, refined, and memorable environment.

What Will You Be Doing?

You will be a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. You will play a key role in upholding the exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all public areas of 11 Cadogan Gardens and The Chelsea Townhouse. You will be a strong team player, confident working independently when required, and committed to delivering consistency, quality, and excellence at all times. You will understand that small details make a big difference and take genuine pride in contributing to an outstanding guest journey.

Below are some of the duties and responsibilities of the Public Area Attendant at 11 Cadogan Gardens and The Chelsea Townhouse:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, staircases, lifts, restrooms, and back-of-house areas
  • Work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment while supporting the wider Housekeeping and Operations teams when required
  • Ensure service areas are kept clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the shift
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, ensuring all areas consistently reflect the luxury standards of the hotel
  • Be proactive in identifying maintenance or safety issues and reporting them promptly
  • Communicate courteously and professionally with guests and colleagues, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Maintain full awareness of Health & Safety standards and due diligence requirements at all times
