Housekeeping Porter – About you
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable
- Driving license is desirable for the use of on-site vehicles
- Self‑motivation and enthusiasm in your work is key
- Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues
- A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude
Aim of the Housekeeping Porter
To maintain the high standards in the hotel bedrooms and Treehouses supporting the housekeeping team
Key responsibilities of the Housekeeping Porter
- Assist General Assistants with ensuring all bedrooms and suites are guest ready
- Transport additional heavy equipment e.g. beds, mattresses and alternative furniture to the bedrooms and Treehouses
- Cleaning balconies, balcony furniture and railings, reporting any maintenance queries
- Be responsible for de‑scaling shower heads, bleach grouting in bathroom and toilets and general upkeep of bedroom
- Coordinate and supply bedrooms with special requests e.g. champagne, flowers, fruit bowls and gifts
