About you as Maintenance Engineer:
- Previous hotel experience ideally in 5 star properties
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Problem solving attitude
- Work diligently and effectively with excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new methods and other aspects of maintenance
- Support wider team with tasks and deadlines
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Under guidance of Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief, provide proactive and reactive maintenance support to the hotel
- Be able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice
- Carry out regular room walks and inspections to ensure any damage or updates are logged and addressed
- Participate with engineering shift rota pattern as and when required
- Be confident in completing any other reasonable task as required by the Chief Engineer
- Be fully aware of the Hotel's Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations
