The Marketing Executive will support the Social Media Marketing Manager in the day-to-day delivery of social media marketing for Iconic Hotels & Resorts-a collection of distinctive luxury properties, each with its own identity, storytelling and guest experience.

This is a hands-on, detail-led role with a core focus on creating, managing and optimising social media content across the portfolio. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Copywriting for social media captions, campaigns and property updates
- Scheduling content using the Hey Orca platform
- Capturing and editing social-first content, including photography, short-form video, Reels, Stories and Tik Toks
- Community management across key social media channels
- Reporting on social media performance, metrics and insights
Key Responsibilities
- 1) Content Creation
- Create engaging, social-first content for the collection and its individual properties (Cliveden House, Chewton Glen, The Mayfair Townhouse, The Chelsea Townhouse, 11 Cadogan Gardens, Nobu Hotel Portman Square, The Lensbury, Strand Palace and more), tailored for platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Linked In.
- Capture and produce high-quality short-form video, photography, Stories, Reels, Tik Toks and behind-the-scenes content that showcases each property’s personality, experiences and key selling points.
- Support the day-to-day creation of organic social content, including property highlights, dining moments, spa and wellness content, events, weddings, offers, local area features and seasonal campaigns.
- Develop creative content ideas that bring the properties to life and encourage audience engagement, while remaining aligned with brand standards and luxury hospitality positioning
- Support live and reactive social content during events, launches, activations, press moments and key seasonal periods.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, audio trends, content styles and competitor activity, identifying relevant opportunities for the brand and properties.
- Maintain an organised library of social media assets, ensuring content is correctly stored, named and easy to access for future use.
- 2) Copywriting
- Write clear, engaging and brand-aligned copy for social media channels
- Adapt copy for multiple platforms and audiences, ensuring the right tone of voice, message hierarchy and call-to-action for each channel.
- Maintain consistency across all written content, ensuring copy reflects brand standards, individual property guidelines and the appropriate luxury positioning.
- Edit, proofread and refine copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling and formatting are of a consistently high standards
- 3) Community Management
- Monitor comments, direct messages, tags, mentions and reviews, ensuring timely, professional and brand-appropriate responses.
- Support the day-to-day management of social media communities across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Linked In and other relevant platforms.
- Help build positive relationships with online audiences by proactively engaging with user-generated content, guest posts, influencer content and partner activity.
- 4) Reporting
- Monitor core social media metrics including reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, video views, saves, shares, clicks and content performance.
- Assist with preparing regular social media reports, highlighting key results, trends, learnings and recommendations.
- Analyse the performance of posts, Stories, Reels, Tik Toks and campaigns to identify what content is resonating with audiences.
- Monitor competitor and industry social media activity to provide useful benchmarks, inspiration and insight.
