The Lygon Arms is one of the UK's most iconic luxury hotels, combining historic charm with exceptional guest experiences. We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded Income Auditor to join our team at The Lygon Arms.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional, accounts assistant, auditor, or hotel finance specialist who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and ensuring financial accuracy. You'll play a key role in protecting revenue integrity across the hotel while working closely with both our on-site operational teams and the wider Iconic Hotels & Resorts Central Finance Team in London.

The Role

  • Review and reconcile daily revenue across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Events, Spa and other income streams
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances and exceptions
  • Prepare revenue reconciliations, journals and month-end reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company controls, audit requirements and revenue procedures
  • Review credit card settlements, deposits and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work closely with operational departments to resolve revenue queries and improve processes
  • Support continuous improvement projects and system enhancements
  • Collaborate with the London-based Finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

About You

  • Previous experience in an accounts, finance, audit or hotel finance role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable investigating discrepancies and identifying solutions
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A proactive team player with strong communication skills
  • Hospitality finance experience is advantageous but not essential
