Working within our website trading team, you’ll get hands-on experience in a busy online retail business, learning how websites drive sales, engage customers, and create great shopping experiences. No two days are the same, you’ll be involved in everything from digital campaigns and email marketing to SEO, product launches, website merchandising, promotions and analysing performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills, learn from an experienced and supportive team and gain real insight into how a successful e-commerce business operates. Key Responsibilities

  • Website Trading & Merchandising
    • Support the day-to-day trading of the company website
    • Upload and maintain product listings, imagery, pricing and promotional content
    • Assist with homepage updates, category merchandising and campaign landing pages
    • Ensure products are accurately presented and commercially positioned
    • Monitor stock availability and flag issues impacting website performance
    • Support product launches and promotional events
  • Digital Marketing
    • Assist in planning and executing email marketing campaigns
    • Support SEO activity including product copy optimisation, metadata and keyword improvements
    • Support internal teams with paid media activity including Google Shopping, PPC and paid social campaigns
    • Support affiliate and promotional partner activity where relevant
    • Assist with campaign planning for seasonal peaks, product launches and promotional periods
  • Performance & Reporting
    • Track website performance metrics
    • Produce weekly reports and performance summaries
    • Help identify trends, opportunities and underperforming areas
    • Support A/B testing and website optimisation activity
  • Customer Experience
    • Review website journey and identify friction points
    • Support improvements to navigation, content and merchandising
    • Monitor customer feedback for website-related insights
    • Help ensure promotions and messaging are accurate and customer-friendly
  • General Team Support
    • Work closely with E-commerce, Marketing, Product and Customer Experience teams
    • Support ad hoc digital and trading projects
    • Maintain strong attention to detail across all online activity
    • Learn e-commerce systems, platforms and reporting tools
