Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist / Radiographer to join our growing team at Icon Cancer Centre in Leeds. In this senior clinical role, you will deliver high-quality Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging services, as well as supporting the delivery of radionuclide therapies within a state-of-the-art cancer care environment. Combining advanced technical expertise with a strong commitment to patient-centred care, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate and efficient diagnostic and therapeutic services. You will also provide leadership and mentorship within the department, contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support outstanding patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high-quality Nuclear Medicine services, including SPECT/CT, PET/CT imaging and radionuclide therapies, ensuring exceptional standards of patient car, safety and clinical excellence.
- Provide senior clinical leadership within the department, supporting, mentoring and developing junior staff while contributing to service improvement, innovation and the implementation of new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant radiation protection, quality assurance and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and promoting a strong culture of safety and governance.
- Collaborate closely with Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Radiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning and outstanding patient outcomes.

Icon UK are proud to be opening a Cancer Centre in Leeds. The facility is custom-built and will provide state of the art oncology services to our patients.
