As a Senior Project Manager at ICON, you will lead and manage complex projects and programs across various departments in Early Development Oncology, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee site resourcing and workforce planning workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless execution of program activities.
  • Develop and manage program plans, timelines, budgets, and resources, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that may impact program success.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance program efficiency, quality, and outcomes.

Your Profile

You will have solid Early Phase Oncology experience as a Senior Global Project Manager, with the ability to deliver projects globally and lead matrix cross-functional teams as well as vendor management oversight.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.
  • A PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
  • Wealth of experience working within a Pharmaceutical and CRO setting as a Senior Global Clinical Project Manager.
  • Strong Early Phase Oncology experience on a Global Project Manager level.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 25%).
