At ICON, our Sales Operations team plays a critical role in shaping commercial strategy and driving business growth through data-driven decision making. • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and forecasting models that provide meaningful business insights.
  • Transform complex datasets into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision making.
  • Drive improvements to sales processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the integrity, governance, and consistency of commercial data across systems and reporting tools.
  • Provide the sales teams with guidance and support on tools, systems, reporting, and operational processes.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Business Development, and Operational leaders to align commercial priorities and objectives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness and revenue predictability.
  • Coach and develop junior members of the Sales Operations team.

We're open to candidates from a variety of analytical and commercial backgrounds. You may currently work in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Revenue Operations, Business Intelligence, Sales Support, Data Analytics, or a similar function. We're particularly interested in candidates who bring:

  • Experience analysing business or sales performance data and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence decision making through data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data modelling, pivot tables, reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and an understanding of how commercial data flows through sales processes.
  • Exposure to dashboarding and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, healthcare, or other data-driven commercial industries would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with senior leaders.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for driving business performance through data.
