The Composite Pattern Maker will be responsible for blocking up, fabricating, assembling, modifying, and maintaining patterns, moulds, and tooling used in the manufacture of composite components. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring tooling meets production requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture patterns and tooling for composite part production.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and shape materials such as resin boards, carbon fibre, and tooling compounds.
  • Operate hand, power tools and measurement instruments.
  • Repair, modify, and maintain existing moulds and tooling.
  • Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to optimise tooling manufacture.
  • Maintain safe working practices and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Support prototype development and new product introduction activities.

Qualifications
