We are a rapidly growing organisation and finding and retaining the highest calibre of people is fundamental to us for the success of our business. We work hard to create a challenging, supportive and satisfying working environment for all our employees. We have successfully achieved the Investors in Diversity Foundational Award for our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

This role is highly visible and requires commitment to providing a high-quality service to meet customer demand. The IT Workplace Technology Project Manager will facilitate any project scope required by the client, including the relocation of user IT equipment in the UK and Europe. The position is very hands-on with a strong focus on the customers’ requirements, activity coordination, system implementation, resource provisioning, statistics, asset management, financial justifications, documentation preparation, health and safety and service delivery.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills with a sound understanding of moves, adds and changes, IT infrastructure, database, and project management.

Please note: This role will be based on a primary location of the customer offices at Canary Wharf in London; however, travel will also be required across the EMEA region (Customer sites).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end projects across IT, AV, and structured cabling environments, including Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) and decommissioning activities.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, ensuring quality, compliance, and health & safety standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee project planning, financial control, and reporting — including resource scheduling, quotations, invoicing, and supplier coordination.
  • Manage risks, ensuring that risks are reported, escalated as appropriate and managed to ensure mitigation or reducing impact to service.
  • Act as primary client interface, ensuring service excellence and alignment with client processes and SLAs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on infrastructure installs, desktop deployments, network and voice connectivity, and AV installations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking, and system records across platforms such as ServiceNow and Ariba.
  • Maintain full systems access via mandatory client training, eLearning and self-attestation.
  • Work as part of a small team, with cross collaboration to ensure delivery of a high volume of works.

What we’re looking for:

  • Essential:
  • Relevant experience in IT project management within banking or large enterprise environments.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Relevant experience in Workplace Technology project delivery – IT, AV, and structured cabling.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, MAC processes, and service delivery.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and asset/ticketing systems (ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience mentoring and developing internal and 3rd party technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Contributing to Continual Service Improvement for activities both within the project team, and the wider service.
  • Available to manage works taking place out of hours, during weekends and evenings.
  • Preferred but not Essential:
  • PRINCE2 or ITIL® Foundation certification.
  • COMPTIA Network+ or equivalent technical accreditation.
  • BICSI Technician or Data Centre certifications (CDCTP®, CDCMP®).
  • Previous experience in financial services or data centre environments.
