Job Overview

An outgoing people person who creates and develops relationships with prospective students and parents, peers, academics and management. Campus-based, this role will have multiple responsibilities, from conducting engaging campus tours, overseeing busy audition schedules, promoting all aspects of campus life with prospective students and parents (including via social media), on-site campus events, and building relationships with local schools and colleges. Experience in social media is essential, regularly capturing and sharing real-time content reflecting campus life and student activities/events, working closely with the marketing team on content creation.

Understanding education pathways is critical, as the value schools and colleges play in providing a steady stream of new students is hugely important to ICMP’s growth. Organising on and offsite workshops, virtual events and seminars is key, with this individual being a self-starter, resilient, and motivated by success and personal growth. Confident and able to think proactively to overcome any challenges is crucial as this role will work remotely from their line manager and act as a key member of the Campus team. In addition, this role will support the ICMP and SAE UK Access and Participation Plan (APP) and promote the value of higher education in line with their commitment to widening participation. Flexible working, evenings and weekends, and the ability to positively adapt is essential, both in terms of working arrangements to meet the needs and availability of potential students, and to support the wider recruitment team, being able to positively step in and support call handling whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure all prospective students are given an engaging campus tour, tailored to reflect the leads areas of interest.
  • To oversee and help manage a busy interview and audition schedule for prospective students.
  • To communicate efficiently and effectively with National Course Advisors so there is absolute clarity on any contact had with a lead.
  • Proactive account management of existing educational partners and responsibility for leading efforts to establish new partnerships in line with given criteria and APP.
  • To organise and deliver a programme of incoming and external workshops for educational partner school and college groups. This will include all liaison and communications, monitoring and recording of attendance and other data required to evidence APP activity and impact.
  • To capture content onsite and at off-site events that is then shared through social media channels (class/studio photos/student projects).
  • Facilitating the successful creation of local content in conjunction with marketing (talking head video with a student).
  • To attend higher education/careers fairs (in-schools and at UCAS conventions) as a representative of ICMP and SAE acting as a persuasive ambassador and providing information and advice about our courses.
  • To drive the wider team delivery of Information, Advice and Guidance talks in schools and colleges.
  • To manage and build the internal database for educational partner teachers and advisors with marketing and other UK CROs to enable regular communications.
  • To support the hosting of subject taster events on campus, including event registration delivery of welcome talks and overseeing groups as required.
  • To answer day-to-day enquiries of possible school college partners by phone, email and in person and to consistently use systems to record these, in particular the CRM system.
  • To develop and assist with the set-up, delivery and pack-down of Open Days and other internal and external events.
  • Responsible for the ‘access’ elements of the ICMP and SAE UK APP, including running targeted workshops and recording data and training regional SROs so they understand their responsibilities.
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with wider staff on campus so that campus-based staff are aware and support any required events.
