Job Overview

As the Campus Recruitment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in representing ICMP and SAE in Leeds and the surrounding areas. From engaging prospective students to organising events and building partnerships with schools, colleges, and creative organisations, this role combines student recruitment, events & marketing, and community engagement. The position requires a proactive individual with a passion for creative education, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A flexible schedule, including evening and weekend work, is essential to meet the needs of prospective students and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools and colleges giving students exposure to SAE and ICMP
    • Connect with local creative industry organisations, and facilitate cross collaboration opportunities
    • Deliver workshops, seminars, and information sessions for educational partners and prospective students.
    • Actively develop partnerships to support the ICMP and SAE UK Access and Participation Plan (APP).
  • Event Coordination
    • Plan and deliver recruitment and engagement events, including open days, workshops, and virtual sessions.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to capture and share real‑time content from events and campus life on social media.
    • Assist with hosting and managing subject taster sessions, interviews, and auditions.
  • Student Recruitment and Engagement
    • Act as the primary contact for prospective students and their families in the Leeds region.
    • Conduct engaging campus tours, ensuring a tailored experience for prospective students.
    • Facilitate and manage the appropriate structure needed to complete the audition process for those students looking to start with ICMP.
    • Represent ICMP and SAE at recruitment fairs, school visits, open days, and community events.
    • Provide accurate and inspiring information about ICMP and SAE courses, facilities, and student life.
    • Support prospective students throughout the admissions process, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • General Duties
    • Proactively manage and update the CRM system to ensure accurate record‑keeping and effective communication.
    • Provide regular updates interdepartmental and cross departmental on regional recruitment activities.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, admissions, and student experience, to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
    • Support broader recruitment efforts, including call handling and administrative tasks, as required.
