About The Role

The International Recruitment & Partnerships Officer (IRPO) plays a central role in delivering international student recruitment activity across SAE and ICMP.

This role is designed to be hands‑on and operational, acting as an extension of the National Course Advisor (NCA) team while taking ownership of international enquiries, applications, conversion activities, and agent relationships.

The postholder will proactively drive growth in new international sponsored students (direct and agent‑led), ensure prospective students receive timely and high‑quality guidance, and maintain a visible presence on campus to support international applicants and enrolled students.

The role also provides operational support to Admissions & Compliance during peak periods and represents the institution at international fairs, webinars, and events.

  • General Responsibilities

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in international student recruitment, admissions, or agent management within HE/FE or an international education context.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering applicant‑facing or customer‑facing services.
  • Experience working with CRMs, applicant management systems, or similar workflow tools.
  • Experience communicating with culturally diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence delivering group presentations and online events.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly across different teams.
  • Culturally sensitive approach to student engagement.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience conducting pre‑CAS interviews or supporting UKVI‑related processes.
  • Experience representing an organisation at recruitment events, webinars, or fairs.
  • Knowledge of international education systems and common international entry qualifications.
  • Understanding of international student motivations and decision‑making factors.
  • Basic understanding of UKVI Student Route requirements.
  • Ability to analyse simple data sets and identify trends.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to undertake international travel when required.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
  • Regular on‑campus presence (minimum weekly, more frequently during peak periods).
