The predicted salary is between 26.1 - 40.74 £ per hour.

We are expanding our team of hourly paid lecturers in Vocals, Music Production, DJ, Live Sound, Songwriting, and Artist Development to teach Evening courses and Summer Schools at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in Leeds and Liverpool.

Salary: £26.10 to £40.74 based on skills and experience.

Hours: Flexible.

Contract type: Hourly paid.

Courses:

  • Music Production Basics with Logic Pro (ICMP)
  • Intro to DJing (ICMP)
  • Introduction to Songwriting (ICMP)
  • Introduction to Vocals at ICMP (ICMP)
  • Complete Ableton Live Course (ICMP)
  • Artist Development (ICMP)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality teaching to undergraduate students across all levels.
  • Engage and connect with students, support the development of creative business professionals, and maintain a credible professional/industry profile.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent technical knowledge in the relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching in further or higher education programmes.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline expected.
  • Teaching and/or postgraduate qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Evidence of high‑quality teaching practice.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
