Location: Leeds | Liverpool | London
Contract Type: Full-time - 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £36,692 per annum based on experience

About The Role
- Lead the institution-wide schools, colleges and community outreach strategy
- Identify and develop relationships with priority schools, colleges, music hubs and community organisations
- Oversee the planning and delivery of outreach programmes, recruitment events, UCAS fairs and higher education exhibitions
- Develop national event frameworks, standards, toolkits and guidance to ensure a consistent and engaging experience
- Provide functional leadership and specialist support to campus-based Events Officers, outreach teams and student ambassadors
- Work closely with Recruitment and Admissions teams to support pipeline development, conversion activity and enrolment targets
- Use data and insight to evaluate event performance, drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decision-making
- Ensure all outreach and events activity meets safeguarding, compliance, health and safety requirements
- Support the delivery of key institutional events and act as a senior operational lead at flagship events when required
About you
You’ll be a collaborative and influential professional with a passion for outreach, student recruitment and delivering exceptional event experiences.
Essential Requirements
- Significant experience leading schools outreach, student recruitment, community engagement or large-scale events programmes
- Proven ability to develop strategic frameworks, standards and scalable operational models
- Strong understanding of recruitment pipelines, widening participation and conversion activity
- Experience working successfully within complex or matrix environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to evaluate performance and inform strategy
- Ability to influence and lead colleagues without direct line management responsibility
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Experience within higher education, further education or a related sector
- Knowledge of Access and Participation Plans (APPs)
- Experience representing an organisation at external events, fairs and professional networks
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and event management platforms
