About The Role

We are seeking an organised, creative, diligent and proactive Marketing Officer to join the AD Education UK Marketing and Events team, with a primary focus on the ICMP brand. This dynamic role is within an ambitious and fast-paced business environment. Our team\’s work encompasses the entire student journey, from creating content to attract and support new applicants through to providing marketing support for graduation ceremonies and celebrating our students\’ remarkable achievements. As the Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting activities across all elements of the marketing mix. Your responsibilities will include creating and updating website content, building email marketing campaigns in HubSpot, conceiving and contributing to the creation of engaging social media content, and much more. This hands-on position requires you to liaise with various departments throughout the institution, ensuring that students and staff are kept informed of key developments through effective and engaging creative communications. Your keen eye for detail, fresh ideas, and passion for aesthetics will be essential in creating compelling design and content. We\’re looking for someone who sees the value in good design, effective communication across the Marketing Team and wider business, and who actively stays abreast of emerging marketing trends and technologies. Collaboration is at the heart of our team\’s success. You\’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure all communications and creative assets align with the ICMP brand, effectively promoting the institution and it\’s range of music industry courses. Additionally, you\’ll contribute to the wider AD Education Marketing and Events Team, supporting student recruitment activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly website checks to ensure all content is current; open day event schedules are accurate; and short course information aligns with the sales schedule
  • Assist in managing creative content across ICMP website and supporting marketing channels
  • Communicate with faculty to gather information, ensuring content accuracy and effective promotion
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to conceive and develop social media and visual content
  • Maintain consistency in creative materials across all channels, adhering to templates and brand guidelines, and create new templates or base versions as needed
  • Collaborate with partner manufacturers and organisations to promote partnerships and agreements through compelling creative materials and templates, to be distributed by the Marketing Officer and Social Media Executive
  • Provide support to the Events team during ICMP Open Days and other recruitment events throughout the year
  • Interact with various departments across the institution to help distribute information and raise awareness of events and initiatives
  • Manage and maintain internal messaging channels like TV screens, coordinating with the Social Media Executive to ensure key messages are shared appropriately and align with base creative
  • Provide support for the ICMP short courses marketing channels as required
  • Support for internal student communications as needed
  • Keep up-to-date with current industry best practices and analyze competitor content to learn from their activities
  • Stay abreast of departmental KPIs and web analytics to evaluate the effectiveness and engagement levels of website and social content, identifying opportunities, and pursuing continuous improvement as part of the wider team
  • Contribute to monthly marketing reports as requested by the Senior Marketing Team
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions with team members and the wider business to generate new ideas

Other Responsibilities & General Duties

  • Assist in managing departmental email accounts, addressing both internal and external messages, escalating as necessary
  • Assist with the coordination of internal creative for events
  • Provide guidance to the wider team regarding the appropriateness of creative materials used in communications and social media
  • Participate in Staff Development and training programs as required to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the role
  • Participate in and contribute to Committees and Working Groups as needed
  • Demonstrate awareness of and adherence to all company policies and procedures, with particular emphasis on Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, and safeguarding protocols
  • Perform any other duties consistent with the grading of the role as may be assigned
  • Undertake ad hoc activities as needed to support the broader objectives of the business

Qualifications/Training

  • Educated to degree level (in a marketing or creative subject area) or equivalent industry experience

Experience

  • Desirable to have some experience in a marketing or creative role
