ICM is an investment group built on a philosophy of value creation, vision, and innovation, which started operations back in 1988. ICM has evolved to become a global organization managing over US$1.6 billion in funds directly, with approximately US$9.1 billion of assets indirectly held through subsidiary investments. We are looking for an outstanding individual to assist the investment team in our Epsom, UK office. The successful applicant will have strong analytical and numerical skills with an interest in global and emerging markets and ideally be studying or have completed the CFA program. They will be expected to assist the senior analysts and fund manager with analysis of emerging market companies predominantly in the infrastructure and utilities space, including modelling company financials, direct liaison with the companies, and building a relationship with sell-side brokers. We are based in Epsom, UK, and the successful applicant will be required to work from the office for most days of the week, though there is scope to WFH 1-2 days per week (subject to agreement). The individual will be required to work with the senior analyst across all sectors and geographies. Responsibilities: Excel modelling of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows of individual stocks Tracking industry trends Evaluating companies on a relative and fundamental basis Fund administration including trading, settlements, and FX Assisting senior analyst with company meetings (UK and abroad) Ideally, our preferred candidates will have: ACA/ACCA qualified or studying/completed CFA Strong mathematical/accounting ability and excellent academic background 1-3 years’ experience in equity/credit markets as a research analyst (buyside or sellside).
