Ameg A Sciences plc, part of the global ICL Group, is looking for a Senior Research Chemist I to join our Research & Development team.

For over 40 years, Ameg A Sciences has developed specialty products for the fertiliser and surfactant industries, supporting the Agricultural, Horticultural and Amenity sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable solutions that improve nutrient and water use efficiency.

What you willdo

  • Design and conduct laboratory experiments to support new product development
  • Develop and evaluate formulations for agricultural, horticultural and turf applications
  • Carry out stability, analytical and compatibility testing
  • Analyse and document results, producing technical reports and methodologies
  • Support product scale-up and troubleshooting activities
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sales and Marketing teams
  • Conduct literature and IP reviews to support research projects
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and COSHH requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Laboratory experience within R&D, formulation or product development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and record keeping
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Full UK driving licence
