Overview
In this role, you will lead field, glasshouse and lab trials to advance NUE and WUE-focused technologies and plant performance. You’ll drive evidence generation from concept to commercial launch, collaborating across global R&D, marketing, regulatory and commercial teams. Expect hands-on trial design, data interpretation and product support that informs claims and launches. Responsibilities
- Design, manage and evaluate field, glasshouse and laboratory trials
- Develop innovative technologies and products focused on NUE, WUE and plant physiology
- Analyse and interpret scientific data to support commercial opportunities and product claims
- Manage research projects, budgets, timelines and external research partnerships
- Collaborate with global R&D, marketing, regulatory and commercial teams
- Support product launches through technical training, scientific presentations and customer engagement
- Contribute to intellectual property development, including patents and invention disclosures
Key requirements
- Degree in Plant Physiology, Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, Agriculture or a related discipline
- Proven experience in agricultural, horticultural, turf or plant science R&D
- Strong understanding of plant physiology, NUE and WUE
- Experience designing trials, analysing data and producing technical reports
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- MSc, PhD, BASIS and/or FACTS qualifications are advantageous
