The Role: Fibrisol UK is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Factory Supervisor. This role offers the opportunity to take on responsibility within a fast‑paced production environment, with hands‑on involvement across a range of factory operations. The successful candidate will benefit from structured training and development, supported by a clear progression framework linked to skills development and demonstrated competency.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring daily production targets are reached.
- Supervision of staff and machinery.
- Safe keeping of recipe information.
- Ensuring “In House Health and Safety Measures” are strictly adhered to.
- Abide by Food Safety, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
- Relaying all safety measures to production staff.
- Deputise for Factory Manager in his absence.
- Daily inspection of machinery/weighing equipment and heat sealer equipment.
- Signing of inspection sheets.
- Daily inspection of assembled recipes and signing of Production sheets before production of mixes takes place.
- Signing of Process Orders for correct label identity and all other works order detail.
- Check that all blender/filling/weighing equipment is functioning correctly.
- Check that effective heat sealing is taking place.
- Check that conveyor/bag press/metal detectors are all operating correctly.
- Inspection of rare earth magnets on a batch basis.
- Communication to all Fibrisol Staff but particular to Factory Manager and Factory.
- Do minor machine maintenance.
- Prepare for Audit Customer, BRC, ISO Audit.
- Doing Risk assessments and Corrective Preventive Action and Root Cause Analysis, Permit to Work.
