About the Role
Working as part of the event operations team, this role supports the successful delivery of a varied events portfolio, including commercial conferences, training courses, virtual events, roundtables, awards, and third-party events. You will collaborate with colleagues across production, marketing, sales, and customer success to take events from concept through to delivery, ensuring a positive and engaging customer journey throughout.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues on the event project team to plan and deliver allocated events
- Manage budgets, supplier set-up, invoice processing, and calculation of JV payments
- Work with event technologies such as Stova, Wrike, Cvent, Big Marker, Slido, and GRIP
- Coordinate venue acquisition, AV production, branding, food and beverage, and sponsorship deliverables
- Manage external stakeholders including suppliers, sponsors, speakers, and customers
- Support onsite management of events
- Contribute to delivering a consistent and engaging customer experience before, during, and after events
Requirements
- Proactive, results-orientated, and delivery-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- Commercial awareness, including understanding of cost management, return on investment, and risk mitigation
- Creative and curious mindset, adaptable and open to improving ways of working
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Interest in learning and evolving skills, particularly in relation to event technologies
