Overview
To provide administration support to the functions and colleagues in the Risk & Governance team (Compliance, Information & Data Security, H&S, Sustainability etc.) undertaking daily activities including spreadsheet and database maintenance, suspicious activity reporting, and supplier relationship maintenance. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to learn about the roles within the Risk & Governance team and the importance of keeping the business safe. Your main responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Providing day to day coverage of suspicious activity reporting, fraud management and vulnerable customer reporting, making sure to keep within SLA.
- Providing administrative support for your Compliance, Information & Data Security, H&S and Sustainability colleagues by: maintaining the supplier register and administering the annual supplier review; assistance distributing and collating Business Impact Assessments for business continuity; coordinating activities so that the company operates in a compliant manner.
- Correspond with clients, surveyors and internal departments as and when required.
- Prepare for any internal and external compliance audits and reviews (client) where necessary alongside the Compliance Co-ordinator.
- To undertake additional duties and decision as required (including the provision of Management Information (MI) where required).
- Ensure own compliance with both legal and regulatory requirements.
- Learn new processes and skills.
- No specialist or technical skills are required as full training and development will be provided so you become proficient in the role. However, the following qualities are essential:
- Proficient in Microsoft software packages such as Excel, Lists, Word etc.
- Excellent work planning and organisational skills. Attention to detail.
- Accurate data processing skills.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Capable of working autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Being a forward thinker, with strong judgement skill and excellent attention to detail.
- Desirable but not essential: Understanding of contractual relationship management.
- Understanding of downward supplier compliance management.
- Worked within a Risk & Governance role.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required as business needs dictate.
