Location: Hybrid (Field and Remote, UK)
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work.
Salary: £55,000 DOE, plus bonus, company car/allowance, and benefits.

The Role: As the engineering manager, you will work with the estimating and sales teams liaising on projects, tendering and quotes to offer a complete thermal solution for customers. You will also be responsible for the technical day-to-day support of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing an overall technical lead.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Assess warranty claims.
- Provide technical support to clients and the sales team.
- Ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
- Equipment selection, boiler, pump, pipework, expansion vessel sizing etc.
- Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
- Facilitate and participate in Project reviews.
- Support all teams and facilitate knowledge growth.
- Attend sites and meetings as technical lead, with an emphasis on supplying the best solution for the client.
- Design and specification (containerisation).
SHEQ:
- Demonstrate safe work practices, adhere to site safety rules, and proactively create RAMS and permits.
- Follow site permitting regulations and contribute to SHEQ improvements.
- Hold a valid CSCS card or equivalent (preferred).
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of hot water and steam boilers.
- Experience with combustion processes and systems.
- Resolve customer issues and provide aftersale support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in boilerhouse and combustion engineering.
- Knowledge of steam and hot water boiler plant.
- Valid UK driver’s license and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Flexibility for travel.
