It’s not just a job — together, we’re on a mission. We're committed to accelerating the energy transition, with the goal of empowering 2 million sustainable energy installations by 2035. But we cannot achieve this goal alone. We are looking for talent to strengthen our team, and work with others on what really matters.

The team you will join at iChoosr consists of 140 goal getters with a proactive approach, strong sense of ownership and strong interpersonal skills. Your colleagues work across the US, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Poland, Japan and Macedonia.

We are experts in Human Engagement. We develop and create services that activate and target groups of consumers and companies. We connect communication, platform and delivery in a smartly thought-out customer journey. We have grown by organising group purchases of solar panels and energy for consumers. More than 2.7 million households in Europe have opted for green electricity, solar panel installations or increasing their living comfort. We are developing new concepts in several markets to prepare our company for the future, with ambitious goals set for 2050 to have set 50 million people in motion.

Your responsibilities as a UK Relationship Manager include:

  • Owning the relationship with a portfolio of existing and new councils to provide them with first point of contact, contract management, and coordinated operations delivery (e.g. web landing pages).
  • Campaign development and delivery in partnership with the Marketing team.
  • Analysis and applying learnings to grow the project and develop relationships.
  • Education and information on up-to-date market developments and challenges/progress with delivery stages of schemes.
  • Liaison with council stakeholders on resolution of any resident queries.

You will share the relationship management tasks with the existing team to retain and grow results delivered from council community leaders (CLs) and collaborate with installer, marketing and project management team members. You will also report progress against plan and apply learnings to evolve the approach.

Having a data-led approach to measuring scheme performance and understanding customer behaviour is essential, including reviewing customer satisfaction surveys and feeding results back to CLs and internal teams for efficiencies. You should keep abreast of market and internal developments to see how we can innovate our services towards all stakeholders (consumers, community leaders and suppliers).

Who do you work with?

  • The UK business team: UK Country Manager, UK Solar Business Manager, Relationship and Operations Managers, Installer Managers and Marketing & Communication Officers in the UK as well as Customer Services in Amsterdam.
  • The iChoosr expert teams: Human Engagement, Data analysis, Customer & Privacy management, Product Management & Platform development.

Your expertise should ideally include:

  • A BA degree supplemented with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
  • Ability to review and interpret data and use this to give a narrative to CLs.
  • Experience working for, or with, local authorities or similar public sector organisations.
  • Confidence in hosting meetings and delivering presentations online and in person.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with council counterparts.
  • Ambition, proactivity, resilience, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally in the UK/Netherlands/Belgium including overnight stays.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Suite and other IT related tools.

Our commitment to you includes contributing to a more sustainable world on a daily basis, a competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits package, flexible work arrangements (hybrid working - mandatory 3 days in the London office Tue-Thur), professional development opportunities (Mentor/mentee program & buddy program), an international company event once a year, cultural holiday swap, a day off on your birthday, and the possibility to travel.
