It’s not just a job — together, we’re on a mission. We are committed to accelerating the energy transition, with the goal of empowering 2 million sustainable energy installations by 2035. But we cannot achieve this goal alone. We are looking for talents to strengthen our team and work with others on what really matters.
The team you will join: At iChoosr, you will join a team of 140 goal getters with a proactive approach, strong sense of ownership and strong interpersonal skills. Your colleagues work across the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, the US, Poland and Japan. We connect homeowner demand with renewable product and service providers at scale in our group buying schemes run throughout the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Partnership Manager with a focus on acquiring, managing and optimising commercial partnerships in a delivery focussed environment. Experience of the solar market or other renewable technologies in the UK is preferred.
Your responsibilities:
- As Partnership Manager for the UK business lines, you will be responsible for engaging with solar and heat pump installers as we launch in new and repeat regions, then managing the relationship with installation companies, coaching them in the scheme processes and ultimately working with the installers to deliver optimal installation results from each scheme.
- You have a dual role with installers; monitoring their progress and ensuring they meet contractual requirements, while also building a robust and open relationship in which you provide feedback and discuss opportunities to optimise the customer journey to achieve efficiencies, improve customer satisfaction and increase conversion rates (and reduce cancellations).
- The role includes management of some third party relationships such as trainers and technical inspectors.
- You identify opportunities for improvement in processes and the customer journey and present these opportunities in feedback to the installers.
- You manage the installers on the objectives of the schemes in terms of communication, progress, quality and administration.
- You actively involve the most important stakeholders in the course of the projects and can deliver constructive feedback to all stakeholders.
- You advocate best practice and advise on possible improvements in the operational processes internally and at installers, contributing to its implementation.
- You are open and share best practices with the wider Installer Management team.
- You travel around the UK to spend time on location at installers’ offices.
Who do you work with? As a key part of a small Installer Management team, you also work closely with the Business Managers and the operations teams that deliver the platform and processes supporting the schemes, as well as the Relationship Management team that works with our council partners. You will be based in the London office with some hybrid working. You will be required to travel within the UK to spend time on location at installers’ sites as needed. You will also seek to build relationships with other Installer Managers working on our projects in other countries (Netherlands, Belgium, US and Japan) in order to share learnings and best practice which requires limited overseas travel over multiple days.
Your expertise:
- As a graduate, you will have at least 5 years work experience in a commercial partnership and/or operational management role.
- You have experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally with solar panels or heat pumps.
- You have a sharp, strategic mind and are always looking for opportunities to improve and optimise.
- Your communication skills ensure that you know how to get people involved in your ideas.
- You have a proven history of improving operational performance or implementation of processes.
- You have strong relationship management skills and are able to quickly build robust working relationships with your installers and partners (on multiple levels).
- You are confident presenting the opportunity to potential installers.
- You are able to interpret contractual requirements and communicate them with installers to ensure adherence.
- You are familiar with operational aspects of solar and heat pump installations, or able to quickly get up to speed with these.
Our commitment to you: Contribute to a more sustainable world on a daily basis. Competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits package, flexible work arrangements (remote & hybrid working), professional development opportunities (including mentoring), international company event once a year, cultural holiday swap, day off on your birthday, possibility to travel.
Come be a part of our team! If this role fits you, we would love to hear from you. iChoosr is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
Please note: We handle all recruitment internally and do not require assistance from external agencies.
