ichiban UK is a privately owned sushi manufacturer producing own label and branded sushi for the UK market .

We are looking for Hygiene Operatives at our site in Earl Stonham, near Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich.

Shifts are 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off pattern 06:00-18:00 or 18:00 – 06:00 working the following shift pattern\’s

Days 1: Working every Thursday to Saturday and alternate Wednesday\’s.

Days 2: Working every Sunday to Tuesday and alternate Wednesday\’s.

Nights 4: Working every Sunday to Tuesday and alternate Wednesday\’s.

Full-time hours: 40.25 (average across 2 weeks).

This role also attract premium payments for weekend working and is on a guaranteed hours contract.

The Role;

  • To clean equipment and machinery, building fabric and all external areas to a high standard.
  • To maintain high personal hygiene standards and observe all company PPE, hygiene and housekeeping rules.
  • To work in a safe manner, without risk to self or others observing all health and safety rules and procedures and COSHH regulations.
  • Complete all appropriate paperwork accurately and on time.
  • To observe all company quality standards and procedures.

We offer great prospects if you wish to develop your career in the food industry. Full training will be given so although previous experience would be nice, it\’s not essential.

Pay Rates

Days shift rate: £12.50 per hour

Additionally a £10 bonus per weekend day shift worked.

Night shift rate: £12.50 per hour, plus 15% taking the rate to £14.38 per hour.

Additionally a £20 bonus per weekend night shift worked.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£14.38 per hour
