This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual looking to build a career in shareholder relations. You will work across the shareholder relations activities of both ICG plc, a FTSE 100 alternative asset manager, and ICG Enterprise Trust plc, a FTSE 250 investment trust, contributing to a broad and varied range of work across both businesses. You will gain valuable experience supporting shareholder relations for two distinct listed businesses, helping to translate strategy and operating performance into clear financial and market narratives. It is a role that offers breadth, responsibility and exposure, and will help you develop strong financial, project management and communication skills, alongside opportunities to engage with buy-side and sell-side market participants.
This role supports the shareholder relations activities of both ICG plc and ICG Enterprise Trust plc. The team, currently comprising four individuals, is responsible for preparing and delivering regulatory and other market announcements, together with associated presentations, working closely with colleagues across functions including finance, Client Solutions Group and legal. The team also plays a central role in shaping engagement with buy-side and sell-side market participants. The team is largely based in London and has a strong culture of attention to detail, collaboration and continuous improvement. We work closely with one another, with colleagues across the firm and with external advisers, and we value people who bring energy, curiosity and a strong sense of ownership to their work. In-person work is an important part of how we stay connected to each other, the firm and our wider group of stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitoring peer reporting and relevant market developments, and helping to identify the implications for ICG’s positioning.
- Providing insight into how our positioning, messaging and presentation compare with market practice and evolving investor expectations.
- Maintaining accurate consensus for ICG plc and understanding the key drivers of changes.
- Supporting the production of high-quality results announcements and presentations for both companies.
- Coordinating internal workstreams to ensure deadlines are met, liaising with a range of internal teams.
- Working with colleagues on active shareholder targeting as both vehicles seek to broaden and deepen their shareholder bases over time.
- Maintaining up-to-date target lists, supporting colleagues to ensure appropriate follow‑up actions and helping to organise roadshows to meet target shareholders.

- Experience in UK financial markets (this may come from working in an investment bank, law firm, buyside experience or other relevant background).
- Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
