We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Progressor to join a highly successful and established estate agency based in Reading. This is not an entry level property role and is not suitable for candidates with only customer service, administration, conveyancing support or personal property buying experience. We are specifically looking for individuals who have previously worked within residential estate agency and have a strong understanding of the sales progression process from offer agreed through to completion.
The role involves managing a large pipeline of residential property transactions, typically between 70 and 100 live cases at any one time. Working closely with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and branch teams, you will be responsible for identifying issues early, maintaining momentum and ensuring transactions progress efficiently through to exchange and completion.
Key responsibilities:- Managing a substantial pipeline of residential sales transactions
- Liaising daily with solicitors, buyers, sellers and mortgage advisers
- Monitoring chains and proactively resolving issues
- Providing regular updates to all parties involved in the transaction
- Identifying potential risks to sales and taking action to keep deals on track
- Working towards exchange and completion deadlines
- Maintaining accurate records and notes throughout the sales process
- Previous experience as a Sales Progressor, Senior Negotiator, Valuer, Branch Manager or similar estate agency position is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the residential sales process from instruction through to completion
- Experience managing multiple transactions simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
Please do not apply if you have not previously worked within residential estate agency. Due to the complexity and volume of transactions involved, applicants must have a proven understanding of the UK property sales process gained through professional estate agency experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional business offering a stable Monday to Friday position, competitive salary and the chance to play a key role in a high performing property team.
