An established, independent residential estate agency is recruiting an experienced Sales Valuer to take ownership of market appraisals, win instructions at strong fee levels, and drive new business across Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas. This is a role for someone already confident in the valuation seat, comfortable handling premium fee conversations, and capable of converting opportunities into instructions through strong presentation, local knowledge, and follow up.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out residential market appraisals and provide accurate pricing advice
- Win new instructions and negotiate and agree strong fees and terms
- Generate business through proactive prospecting, referrals, and local networking
- Manage the full valuation pipeline from lead to instruction with consistent follow up
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth onboarding of new listings
- Maintain excellent client communication and deliver a standout customer experience
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Sales Valuer or Lister within residential estate agency
- Confident winning instructions at higher fees and defending value against competitors
- Strong local market knowledge and a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable but not essential: Experience with plots, developments, or new homes
