A highly respected and fast growing independent estate agency is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join their established team in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who enjoys delivering a high level of customer service whilst working within a professional and supportive environment. This is a Monday to Friday position with no weekend work, offering long term progression, a strong team culture and additional earning potential through bonuses and commission incentives.

The role:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential rental properties across Crawley and the surrounding areas
  • Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle
  • Coordinating maintenance issues efficiently and liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed to a high standard
  • Booking and overseeing safety certificates including gas safety, EICR, EPC and compliance requirements
  • Carrying out routine property inspections and producing detailed reports for landlords
  • Handling tenancy renewals, negotiations and rent increases where appropriate
  • Managing deposit discussions and supporting with end of tenancy processes
  • Ensuring all properties and tenancies remain fully compliant with current legislation
  • Working closely with the lettings team to ensure smooth move ins and handovers
  • Building strong relationships with landlords through excellent communication and proactive management
  • Supporting with arrears management and resolving tenant queries professionally
  • Identifying opportunities to improve portfolio performance and maximise landlord retention

About you:

  • Previous experience within residential property management is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the lettings process and current property legislation
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload effectively
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
  • Professional, proactive and solution focused approach
  • Comfortable working within a target driven environment with bonuses and commission incentives available
  • ARLA qualification or working towards ARLA would be advantageous but is not essential
