ICF is growing its Environmental Policy team and we're looking for talented professionals across all levels, from early career Consultants through to experienced Principal Consultants, to help deliver high-impact work for clients including Defra, Natural England, the Office for Environmental Protection, the Marine Management Organisation, the Environment Agency and other public sector organisations.
Our work influences public policy and decision-making across areas such as:
- Biodiversity, nature recovery and natural capital
- Agriculture, fisheries and food systems management and sustainability
- Terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments
- Environmental governance and regulation
- Conservation and protected areas
- Pollution and environmental quality
- Climate change and net zero
- Sustainability, resilience and resource management
What You’ll Do
- Deliver research, analysis and evaluation that shapes environmental policy
- Solve complex policy challenges using evidence-based approaches
- Engage with policymakers, regulators and key stakeholders
- Contribute to business development and thought leadership
- Lead projects and multidisciplinary teams (depending on level)
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from individuals with experience in environmental, agriculture or food policy background, sustainability, economics, evaluation, social research, data analytics, climate, water, biodiversity or related fields.
