We work with multiple partners to deliver monitoring, evaluation, and learning projects that provide evidence and analysis for better policy in this important area of work. We’re now looking for an experienced project manager to join our environment team to coordinate proposals and projects from proposal stage through to delivery and successful outcomes for our clients. Relevant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) or project management for other UK government clients including FCDO will also be considered. Candidates with backgrounds in natural environment, ecology, climate, marine conservation, fisheries, countryside, agriculture, or related fields, including monitoring, evaluation, and learning, public policy, social policy, and economics, are encouraged to apply. This role offers a chance to contribute to UK environmental policy across climate, environment, marine, fisheries, and agriculture sectors. You will help manage the quality of evidence informing policy and work alongside users of this evidence. Our position on Defra’s MEL framework provides secure, long-term work opportunities. Lead proposal preparation, submission, and project delivery, including budgeting, contract review, quality management, risk management, and client communication. Have a proven track record in environmental project management or monitoring and evaluation projects. Experience in consulting for UK government clients (e.g., Defra, Natural England, MMO, Environment Agency, FCDO, DESNZ). Strong project management and commercial skills, with leadership capabilities. Manage projects from inception to completion. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills. This role will be positioned as a Managing Consultant or Lead Managing Consultant, depending on experience. Why ICF? This role offers career development within a global, supportive environment. ICF is a thought leader across disciplines, with an extensive network of experts. You will focus on delivering high-quality evidence and evaluation on environmental land management policy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
