We’re now looking for an experienced project manager to join our environment team to coordinate proposals and projects from proposal stage through to delivery and successful outcomes for our clients. We particularly welcome applications from those with experience in project management for UK government clients, especially Defra and Natural England. Relevant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) or project management for other UK government clients including FCDO will also be considered. Candidates with backgrounds in natural environment, ecology, climate, marine conservation, fisheries, countryside, agriculture, or related fields, including monitoring, evaluation, and learning, public policy, social policy, and economics, are encouraged to apply. Coordinate teams to deliver environmental monitoring and evaluation studies in the UK. Lead proposal preparation, submission, and project delivery, including budgeting, contract review, quality management, risk management, and client communication. Manage projects ensuring all obligations are met according to terms and quality standards. Build effective client and subcontractor relationships to ensure high-quality, timely, and within-budget delivery. Work flexibly in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects. Have a proven track record in environmental project management or monitoring and evaluation projects. Experience in consulting for UK government clients (e.g., Defra, Natural England, MMO, Environment Agency, FCDO, DESNZ). Strong project management and commercial skills, with leadership capabilities. Manage projects from inception to completion. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
