Overview

University College London, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, Permanent.

Artic Building Services Ltd is an established and recognised leader within the M&E and Facilities Management sector. Via our standards and reputation within this industry, we have successfully attained a solid foundation of varied blue-chip clients both commercial and public. Training and support will be provided by the Business Unit Head, Helpdesk Manager and other Contract Managers, alongside core training on CAFM and contract operational activities.

The role carries overall contractual, operational and financial responsibility for contracts valued between £2m and £3m.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned contracts are provided with the existing/needed operational and technical standard of service delivery across all works on site.
  • Ensure, with support from H&S parties, all works on site are delivered in a safe manner with all H&S company protocols adhered, escalating any queries or incidents immediately to internal parties, supporting with required resolution thereafter.
  • Ensure that contracts are operated in accordance with the company’s procedures, operational and financial processes, client contract KPIs and work instructions.
  • Responsible for the management and reporting of budgets and their expenditure.
  • Ensure all works/records/compliance data are kept up to date on site and in the back office to the appropriate standards.
  • Operate within financial budget constraints providing services which are cost effective and fit for purpose.
  • Overall responsibility for process and site conduct on your contracts, of all staff either directly or indirectly employed covering services for which the company is responsible, escalating any issues to the relevant department management.
  • Develop operating procedures and policies to achieve best working practices.
  • Meet all key performance and management indicators within the contract and company alike.
  • Develop client relationships to ensure retention of contract and future opportunities.
  • Provide detailed quotes on contract plant/services with full scope and cost breakdown.
  • Company CAFM training will be provided.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections on a predetermined amount of all works delivered and record.
  • Self-audit and review weekly all core company CAFM reports ensuring they are within expected company parameters.
  • Attend monthly contract review meetings and quarterly review meetings as required with Business Unit Head and Contract Managers.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the client and Artic support staff.
