The role - Marketing Executive
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. The Marketing Executive will support the marketing team and report to the Marketing Manager. The role covers writing copy across our business marketing channels including social media, website, blogs, and email as well as supporting one-off activities to produce marketing collateral surrounding our target sectors. Essentially, you will enable the Marketing Team's goals to be achieved through execution of a diverse set of activities each week and month. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast‑paced work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Social Media
- Work with the team to create social media content, leading copywriting activities.
- Perform market analysis and research on the competition.
- Responsible for posting content on LinkedIn daily.
- Engage and share Microsoft content across all social platforms.
- Build up a following on all social platforms by inviting connections and posting engaging content.
- Engage with project communities to increase brand awareness.
- Engage with industry influencers.
- Content creation
- Write company blogs and content for the website.
- Assist in the writing of White Papers with support from Project Team.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials in line with brand messaging.
- Write email campaigns in line with value‑add nurturing campaigns.
- Lead in the production of YouTube content and Podcasts.
- Campaign execution
- Deliver a set of planned Marketing Campaigns.
- Building presence on LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Working with the Practice to build thought leadership content.
- Building Assets to help support these Campaigns.
- Website management
- Maintaining our Content Management System for our Website.
- Working with our Website Partner to implement improvements.
- Co‑ordinating with the various individuals to update blogs, articles and other content on the website.
- CRM management
- Maintaining our CRM system, supported by our CRM Partner.
- Building Customer Journeys on the CRM System.
- Working with our CRM Partner to implement improvements.
Requirements and skills
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of social media networks.
- Current enrolment in a related BS or Masters degree.
Salary & Benefits
A great salary between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. 25 Days + 8 Days Bank Holidays. Hybrid working environment, with 1-2 times per month in the office. Committed Training Plan.
