The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a vital role within the Executive Leadership Team, serving as the strategic leader tasked with overseeing the operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the manufacturing facilities.

This position demands a blend of operational know-how, forward-thinking vision, and the leadership skills needed to guide teams toward meeting immediate operational targets as well as the company’s broader, long-term goals.

Reporting directly to the COO will be the National Supply Chain Manager, Plant Managers, Operations Managers, Production Managers, and QC Managers., Operational Leadership & Strategy:

  • Create and execute a comprehensive operational strategy across all production sites to achieve production targets that support the company`s overarching goals.

  • Champion ongoing enhancements in operational effectiveness throughout all facilities and departments, utilizing methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma where appropriate.

  • Supervise and optimize the entire supply chain process, from acquiring raw materials to delivering finished products to branches and customers across the country.

Manufacturing & Production Management:

  • Oversee production lines to maintain top-tier product quality, safety, and efficiency standards in compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to reduce downtime and maximize plant performance.

  • Guide and support production managers to meet productivity goals, uphold safety standards, and foster strong employee engagement.

  • Ensure all manufacturing operations adhere to local and international regulations, including food safety, quality assurance, and environmental standards.

Supply Chain & Distribution Management:

  • Direct workshop and warehouse operations to optimize inventory management, streamline logistics, and ensure prompt customer deliveries.

  • Manage raw material procurement, vendor partnerships, and inventory levels to maintain seamless production flow.

Financial Management:

  • Partner with the CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Directors to craft and oversee the operational budget, balancing cost control with efficiency improvements.

  • Track and evaluate operational performance indicators, taking corrective steps as needed to keep plants and supply chains within budget and profitability targets.

People & Team Management:

  • Ensure operational departments are staffed with skilled personnel to meet business strategies and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing, diverse team across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, and workshop functions.

  • Cultivate a workplace culture rooted in safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

  • Encourage teamwork and clear communication across all departments that interact with operations.

  • Implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, engagement, and retention.

Risk & Compliance Management:

  • Proactively address operational risks such as production delays, supply chain interruptions, and compliance challenges.

  • Ensure manufacturing facilities and the nationwide distribution network comply with all applicable local and international health, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Over 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, or production management, including at least 5 years overseeing an operating profit and loss (P&L).

  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple production facilities, logistics operations, and distribution networks.

  • Familiarity with overseeing a varied product lineup in the food and beverage industry is a plus.

  • Previous experience with family-owned businesses is valued.

  • Exceptional ability to lead and collaborate with teams.

  • Proven track record of driving results, with strong achievements in boosting sales volume and overall profitability.

  • Deep understanding of general business operations, including policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Skilled negotiator with a talent for securing favorable outcomes.
