Job Title: Junior Editor Company: Iceni Studios Location: Ladbroke Grove, London Job Type : Full-Time We’re looking for a Junior Editor to come on board and join our growing team, based out of our office and studio space in Ladbroke Grove, London. About Iceni We’re a tight-knit team driven by our shared passion for storytelling and film making. Since our inception in 2019, we’ve been dedicated to bringing our clients’ visions to life through the art of visual storytelling. Our mission is straightforward: to create compelling content that resonates with audiences across diverse fields. As an ambitious studio, we focus on building strong relationships with our clients, ensuring every project gets the care and attention it needs. We see you working closely with our Creative Editor, Junior Editor and wider studio team, collaborating to edit original content that not only makes a difference but also has the potential to earn recognition and awards. What we’re looking for We’re on the hunt for an ambitious Junior Editor to join our energetic and fast-paced team of five. Whilst you have experience editing, your real strength lies in your passion for telling authentic and engaging stories. You’re someone who’s curious and gets excited by their work, driven by the opportunity to create content that connects with people. Your understanding of the human spirit helps you bring depth and meaning to the projects you work on. Your abilities • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and ideally an understanding of Da Vinci Resolve. • Competence in Adobe After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. • Ability to think creatively and contribute original ideas to projects. • Knowledge of industry trends and a drive to stay ahead of the curve with new ideas and techniques. • Can-do attitude and proactive approach to tasks. Detail-oriented and thorough at all stages of the post production process to ensure the work is always being completed to the highest standard possible. Organised and efficient in managing your own workflow and editing schedule. Calm and able to prioritise effectively when deadlines are tight. Your focus areas Creative • Bring fresh ideas and innovative editing approaches to keep our content unique and captivating. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies in film editing. • Assist the wider team on larger projects providing input and helping with various tasks as needed. Editing • Help manage the post-production process from the moment footage arrives back in the studio following a shoot, to assets being client-ready. • Edit raw footage into films for multiple platforms, predominantly for social media. • Aside from the editing of footage, you’ll source music, make selects, create narratives, add SFX, create static and basic motion graphics. • Review and revise content based on feedback to ensure all films meet technical and creative standards. • Contribute to internal Iceni Studios content, including ideation and execution. • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality in all editing work. Schedule Management • Collaborate closely with the team to understand project briefs and tailor content to meet specific client needs. • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Working at Iceni This is a full-time position, based at our offices in Ladbroke Grove, London. As a film production company which often travels for work, we occasionally require our editors to be on set with us. In such an instance, this role may require travel to location, although this is likely to be extremely rare. We offer 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays. Due to the stage we’re at as a business, this role has the potential to adapt and move in the direction most suited to you.
