As Shift Manager you will support the management team to deliver consistent results and be the best place to shop and work. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play an active role in your store to sell a £1 & save a £1 to help drive sales.
- Proactively support and work with the Talking Shop Rep in your store.
- Support team engagement in your store.
- Maintain a positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep, always aiming to be the best place to shop.
- Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes.
- Contribute to providing the best digital service through implementing all One Best Way processes.
- Take action to reduce waste.
- Communicate effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
- Plan and organise the shift, using every member of the team.
- Provide balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
- Set the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands-on to deliver a great store.
