Join Our Specialist Refrigeration Team. Become a key part of Iceland’s in‑house refrigeration team, established for over 27 years, ensuring our stores run smoothly by maintaining reliable refrigeration systems.
What You’ll Do: We’re looking for hands-on refrigeration and air conditioning engineers with a problem-solving mindset. Experience in supermarkets, transport refrigeration, commercial systems, HVAC, or chillers is welcome. No supermarket experience? No problem—full training on our equipment and safety protocols provided.

How You’ll Work:
- Autonomy & Flexibility: Plan your own schedule, prioritise calls, and optimise routes to minimise downtime.
- Proactive Approach: Use systems like RDM to diagnose issues before arrival and bring the right parts.
- Direct Coordination: Communicate with store teams for smooth access and minimal disruption.
- Compliance: Follow health & safety and F-Gas regulations, keeping accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair refrigeration assets (display cases, freezers, cold rooms, chillers, packs, condensers).
- Diagnose faults using engineering skills and monitoring systems (RDM, Monika).
- Ensure compliance and documentation.
- Collaborate with store teams to reduce downtime.
